HHATA Dues

Quarterly fees (dues) and special assessments for the coming calendar year are assessed by the Board of Directors in November of each year. Dues may not be increased more than 10% annually without approval of 90% of the homeowners attending the annual May meeting.

Homeowners will not receive a notice or invoice.  Since July 15, 1986, a late fee of $10.00 has been imposed for HHATA dues that are not paid within thirty (30) days of the due dates, plus 8 percent annum interest from the date of delinquency.

Any questions about assessments may be sent to treasurer@hhata.com.

HHATA Notice of Annual Assessment for 2023

As announced at the 2022 Annual Meeting, the HHATA Board has approved an increase in the annual assessment of 10% for 2023. This increase will keep us on track to increase our capital reserve account to a level required for upcoming community projects. The assessment per association property for 2023, due by January 18th, is $1,287.

Those who pay in full by January 18th are eligible for a $100 discount if paid by check or a $90 discount through QuickBooks. The reduced discount for QuickBooks is due to a service fee for each transaction. If you pay for the entire year, please send $1,187 by check or $1,197 via QuickBooks by January 18th. Homeowners may elect to defer full payment until October 15th, provided quarterly payments of at least $324.25 are paid on schedule by the following dates:

  • January 15

  • April 15

  • July 15

  • October 15

Interest and late fees

Applicable interest and late fees will apply unless full payment is received by January 18th and payments are made according to the quarterly schedule. An interest rate of 8% per annum applies to accounts unpaid for over 30 days from the delinquency date as specified by HHATA Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs). A late fee of $5.00 will be charged under provisions of Virginia ยง 55.1-1824, as amended.

QuickBooks

Under this official notice of the HHATA annual assessment for 2023, QuickBooks will send out a single invoice for the annual assessment amount by email to each Association member with an email address registered with HHATA. The QuickBooks invoice will be sent before January 18th. Electronic payments made using the QuickBooks invoice will provide an immediate receipt. For details on electronic payment, see the HHATA QuickBooks Payment Instructions sent only via email.

If mailing checks, please make checks payable to HHATA and mail to:
